The roast meals are always good especially the roast pork meal and that pork crackling is fire! The hot chips, fried chicken and chicken nibbles are some of the best in Auckland! Service is great too except sometimes a grumpy lady behind the counter who can't take a joke and also when they say the hot chips will take "7 minutes" but it takes double that! (NOTE: I am describing my interaction with the previous owners, not the current new owners who were running the shop the week before Christmas 2023).

Very special chicken nibbles in Auckland. Garlic flavor covered in breadcrumbs on the outside. Both clerks I spoke to were very friendly and kept smiling. You can see directly into the frying pan so the store gets slightly hot. There is a big fan blowing all the time.

Amazing people feel like I've seen them before somewhere! Always nice to see diversity in any place... Although I'd left my food for awhile and it was cold when I ate it, the chicken wings/nibbles were beautifully seasoned, juicy and cooked perfectly as was the delicious chicken thigh. My potatoes were gently crispy on the outside, well seasoned and fluffy on the inside. Although this isn't my usual meal of choice, I thoroughly enjoyed what I had so I'll have to try something different next time. Small takeaway that's capable of much bigger things!

Really loved their meal of roast pork and vegetables and apple sauce and crackling. These guys know how to cook and also have a great smiling service. I was very impressed, the food was exceptional. Keep up the great work. I will be back.

I still remember this place, back in 2016, as a student was saving some money for college, I used to go there and get the best chicken and fries, the fries were outta the world and portion size way too large and the special seasoning.
